ALL SOLD OUT!! We soon got through all of our stock at the Harringworth Fete yesterday.
Just crumbs on the table!
Not only a scorcher but no sooner did I arrive there was already a queue for the breads. Wonderful – I have never worked so fast with change and packing before. Sourdoughs disappeared as if they were ice creams!
As Charlie from the Rutland Blog rightly said and I quote ‘you can never underestimate a village fete!’ So true.
Thank you Philippa for contacting us and arranging this fete in such a stunning country garden. Seriously the most perfect English garden setting! I met so many gorgeous people and again there was such a great interest in our sourdoughs.
Pictured we have Charlie from the Rutland Blog, the lovely Gemma from Witham Wines. Of course I had a refreshing elderflower alcoholic presse which cooled me down a treat.
Unfortunately I missed the Flying Scotsman in steam earlier as I was busy sorting the breads but what a beautiful day for it all. And wherever you were today I hope you all enjoyed the best of a British Summer that we are ever likely to get.
